BioYes, I'm finally updating my bio. Aren't you happy?
My online name is Jayme Silvermane. You might call it/her my online alter ego. My real name is Jane. I live in Athens, Georgia. I am 19 years old and graduated from Clarke Central High School in Athens, Georgia in 2006. I am now enrolled part-time at Gainesville State College (the Oconee campus), where I am majoring in Applied Music as that is the only music major they have. I have two sisters, both older. One teaches elementary school chorus, while the other is a senion in college and very close to getting her undergrad in Accounting.
I love playing violin. I also play oboe, but not as well. I am straightedge. I read an awful lot - fantasy mostly, and also research on various topics - and write as well. I am very involved in the Harry Potter fandom, and also involved in the Firefly, Smallville, Stargate: SG-1, Stargate: Atlantis, Red Dwarf, and various manga and anime fandoms. I am rather eclectic in my music tastes. I play almost exclusively classical music on violin (I used to play in the Athens Youth Symphony); however, I prefer to listen to musical soundtracks and rock. I like Wicked, A New Brain, Tick Tick Boom!, Reefer Madness, Hairspray, and Batboy, among others. I also love AFI, Idle Yeti, Chicago, Nine Inch Nails, System of a Down, Green Day, Everclear, The Shins, Velvet Revolver, Redemption 87, and anything else reccomended to me.
More on AFI. I am obsessed. And by obsessed, I mean OBSESSED. I have all of their albums, and almost all of their "extras" songs - hidden songs and songs that were specially released. I have a rather extensive collection of videos, pictures, and quotes, if I do say so myself (I know that it's nowhere near the extent of other fan's collections, but it's perfect for my purposes, which is to memorize every move they make.) If you're an AFI fan, friend me or comment on my journal and we can obsess together!
I am a slasher. If you don't know what that means, you're probably better off not knowing.
